7. Test for an open in the

Mother Board and/or wire

harness for the circuit

without power. Repair or

replace as required. Refer

to Section 6 for Mother

Board removal procedures.

8. Set GEN/REC Switch in "REC"

and the Modulation Mode

Selector Switch in "FM

NAR".

9. Connect Signal Generator

to ANTENNA jack on FM/AM-

500A and test receiver

sensitivity. Return GEN/

REC Switch to "GEN".

10. Set Modulation Meter Range

Switch in "SIG".
