11 Parameter setting
The device parameters can be set in two ways:

The following statements apply to vertical mounting of the sensor.
The device comes with integrated inclination measurement and can output information on its
inclination angle. Tilting around the x axis is called “rolling” and tilting around the y axis is called
“pitching”.
The velocity of the target object is output with a negative sign when the target object moves towards
the sensor.
The velocity of the target object is output with a positive sign when the target object moves away from
the sensor.
