6.4 Horizontal installation of the safety light curtains
These versions are suitable for primary guarding for bodies or parts of
bodies.
With horizontal installation it has to be noted that the distance between the outer
border of the hazardous area (A) and the outer light beam of the safety light
curtain is greater than or equal to the minimum safety distance (S). It is calculated
as follows:

6.5 Fixing and optical alignment
Correct alignment of the transmitter and the receiver is decisive for the
proper function of the photoelectric safety sensors.
