3. Electrical connection
The unit was designed to enable simple and safe wiring.
No input and output signals must be transferred via one common mul-
tiple wire cable or the same signal wire. No I/O signal cables should be
laid near power cables or in a common cable duct. If the I/O signals are
transferred via too long cables, voltage drops and noise result.
It must be ensured that the unit is mounted as far away as possible
from high-voltage cables, installations and power supplies.
Interference immunity and interference emission correspond to the EMC
guideline (CE conformity).
Power must be supplied via the terminal block X5 only. In no case must
the power supply be connected to another terminal of the unit. The
low voltage is to be generated in a way that it adheres to the criteria of
a safe low voltage (SELV).
The additional ground connections for noise suppression (GND), CM1,
CM2 and CM5 have no internal connection with the minus connection
of the pcb (internal ground).
4. Operating system and program installation
The controller software can be created with the programming system
CoDeSys.
