Starting the set-up mode

Upon delivery, a sample application is stored on the device. When booting the device, this application
will start automatically.
To delete the sample application on the unit:
► Create a project in CODESYS.
► Connect with the device.
► Delete the active application on the device with the command "Reset Ursprung".
► Restart the device.

The device starts in the set-up mode.
If no valid CODESYS application is stored on the device, the device automatically boots in the set-up
mode.
► Switch on the device.
For this purpose, terminal 15 and terminal 30 must both be connected to VBB.

The device boots in the set-up mode.
To start set-up mode directly and independently of the installed application:
Requirements:

The user has access to pin SERVICE0 (
→ Data sheet)
► Separate the device from the circuit.
► Perform the following actions
simultaneously
:

Connect the SERVICE0 terminal to VBB.
▪
Switch the device on again.
To do so, terminal 15 and terminal 30 must both be connected to VBB.

The device starts in the set-up mode.

The start screen of the set-up mode appears.
