IFB chimney can be installed either in Re-circulation mode or Ducting mode on depending
on the  models For  efficiency, ensure that gap between the cooking appliances grid and the
chimney should be in-between  650mm to 750mm (maximum) ideal is 650mm.The
installation must be carried out by qualified & competent person or authorized By IFB with
thorough knowledge . The chimney can be ducted to the outside either using flexible or
rigid fire retardant ducting pipe of 120 or 150mm or 4 inch or 6 inch (Depends on the
models) however choice is left with the installer. Use the rated size for the outlet duct pipe.
Smaller size of the duct pipe may reduce the efficiency, may produce more noise &
vibration, same will depend on the numbers of bends & length of the duct pipe. However
choice is left with Installer. The installer will provide the suitable ducting and sealing
material for the installation .For better performance the route of the duct pipe must be kept
 as short as Possible.
