date/time information will be shown on the screen with a DST icon when
playing back recorded video or searching video in the event list. “S”
indicates summer time and “W” indicates wintertime.
5.1.3.7 DST Start / End
The items are used to set the daylight saving duration. Use LEFT / RIGHT
to move the cursor to the next or previous field, UP / DOWN to change the
settings.
5.1.3.8 DST Bias
The item allows user to set the amount of time to move forward from the
standard time for daylight saving time. Available options are <30>, <60>,
<90> and <120> minutes.
5.1.4 Unit Name
Users are allowed to assign a unit name, up to 11 characters, to the PIV
TM
Series MPEG-4 DVR.
Follow the steps to edit the unit name.
• Select <Unit Name> from System Setup menu and press ENTER. A
virtual keyboard displays.
