LED INDICATORS OF THE EIO88 EXPANSION I/O
BOARD
The LEDs for indicating the status of the EIO88 Expansion I/O Board are located as shown in
the Figure: EIO88 Expansion I/O Board Layout (16p). Each LED will be turned on and off as
the following status of the EIO88 Expansion I/O Board.
LED #17
This LED is for indicating the power status and always on if the EIO88
Expansion I/O Board is powered on.
LED #1 ~ LED #8
These LEDs indicate the status of the Output ports of EIO88 Expansion I/O
Board. The LED is turned on while the output is activated to the output
port.
LED #1: Relay #1, LED #2: Relay #2, LED #3: Relay #3, LED #4: Relay #4
LED #5: Relay #5, LED #6: Relay #6, LED #7: Relay #7, LED #8: Relay #8
LED #9 ~ LED #16
These LEDs indicate the status of the Input ports’ signal. When the LED light
is on, it means that the signal has been input to the input port. (NC type
input device) When NO type input device is connected, the LED is on when
the sensor signal is not activated and the LED is off only when the input is
activated.
LED #9: Input #1, LED #10: Input #2, LED #11: Input #3, LED #12: Input #4,
LED #13: Input #5, LED #14: Input #6, LED #15: Input #7, LED #16: Input

LED indicators of In/output signal
Normal Status
Normal times, Red LED is turned on when power is being supplied.
Registered card has
read.
If registered card has read, door (Relay#1, Relay#3) opens for 3 seconds
(Default) and LED (LED#8, LED #10) turns on for 3 seconds.
Exit Button
To come out from inside, press exit button or present registered card to
reader.
For this case, Relay for door lock is operated for 3seconds then it allows to
access user and , LED (LED#8, LED#10) turns on for 3 seconds(Default).
Alarm has generated
If unregistered card has recognized, alarm relay is operated for 3 seconds
and applicable LED indicator of alarm relay turns on for 3 seconds(Default)
