Required flow pressure
A flow pressure between 2 and 8 bar is required at the foam
nozzle inlet. Optimum foaming is achieved at a flow pres-
sure between 3 and 4 bar.
The water hose for connection to the fixed coupling of the medium
expansion foam pistol is ready at hand.
The plastic bottle is filled with foaming agent and mounted.
Attaching the medium expansion foam pistol
1. Manually attach the coupling of the water hose (Fig. 2/

) to the
coupling on the medium expansion foam pistol (Fig. 2/
2
).
2. Open the water supply.
The medium expansion foam pistol is ready for use.
Opening the medium expansion foam pistol and starting the
extinguishing agent discharge
1. Point the finishing tube (Fig. 2/

) at the source of fire or the area to
be covered.
