4.1 Delivery
The Medium expansion foam pistol M0,4 has been carefully packaged
at AWG Fittings GmbH.
After unpacking, check the delivery for damage and verify
completeness.
Any damage must be immediately reported to the carrier.
If parts are missing, immediately inform the responsible specialist
dealer or AWG Fittings GmbH.
The Medium expansion foam pistol M0,4 is delivered ready to be con-
nected and is immediately ready for use with an extinguishing foam
agent admixing rate of 1 %. When using an extinguishing foam with an
admixing rate of 3 %, the enclosed connection hose must be fitted
without reducer (see Chapter 5.2 'Getting the device ready for opera-
tion').
4.2
Transport in a vehicle and storage
To prevent the foam agent from leaking, a medium expansion foam
pistol with the bottle filled and mounted must be transported and stored
upright.
If a holder or box is provided for transport or storage, a medium ex-
pansion foam pistol with the bottle filled and mounted must also be in
an upright position.
Especially during transport inside a vehicle, the medium expansion
foam pistol must not be damaged by other heavy equipment.
