Introduction
This chapter describes precautions for installing the analog I/O modules in connection with the internal current draw by
other expansion modules.

Mounting Hole Layout for Direct Mounting on Panel Surface

This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D or non-hazardous loca-
tions only.

Explosion hazard — Substitution of components may impair suitability for Class I, Division 2.

Direct Mounting Strip

To mount the analog I/O module on a panel surface, use
the direct mounting strip and two M4 screws (6 or 8 mm
long).
