Interface
Power
Supply
The
AS
‐
Interface
bus
uses
a
dedicated
30V
DC
power
supply
(AS
‐
Interface
power
supply),
which
is
indicated
with
the
AS
‐
Interface
mark.
General
‐
purpose
power
sup
‐
ply
units
cannot
be
used
for
the
AS
‐
Interface
bus.
When
using
two
AS
‐
Interface
master
modules,
two
AS
‐
Interface
power
supplies
are
needed.
Since
the
AS
‐
Interface
cable
transmits
both
signals
and
power,
each
net
‐
work
requires
a
separate
power
supply.

Cables
The
AS
‐
Interface
bus
uses
only
one
cable
to
transmit
signals
and
power.
Use
one
of
the
following
cable
types
(the
wire
does
not
have
to
be
stranded).
