4. Operation
Warning
•
Ensure that your notebook requires a supply voltage of 18-20
volts; otherwise your device may be damaged.
•
The specified supply voltage can be found on the original power
supply unit or in the user manual of your notebook. If you cannot
find the specification, do not connect your notebook and contact
the manufacturer.
•
Ensure that the total power consumption of the notebook does
not exceed the power supply unit’s rated output capacity of 65 W.
•
The adaptor plugs included with the power supply unit cover most
common notebooks from major manufacturers.
•
Please select the correct adapter using the plug on the original power
supply unit.
•
Test the selected adapter in the socket of the notebook while the
notebook is switched off and the power supply unit is NOT connected.
The plug should slide into the socket easily and fit securely without
too much play.
•
Connect the correct adapter to the DC connection line of the power
supply unit. This connection is protected against polarity reversal; i.e.,
the adapter fits easily onto the connection cable in one position only.
•
Do not use force under any circumstances. This may damage the
power socket of the notebook or the adapter.
•
First connect the power supply unit to the notebook. Then plug the
electrical plug of the power supply cord into the electrical socket.
•
When the power supply is active, the LED lights up to indicate that
the power supply unit is ready for operation.
•
The terminal device can now be used and switched on or charged.
Warning
•
Never attempt to forcibly connect the adapter plug in the wrong
position, as this can lead to the polarity being reversed.
•
If the polarity is reversed, the notebook may be damaged.
5. Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not
