TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
On Internet radio, I get a “Server
Full” or “Connection Down” message
and the station does not play
a) Station is congested or not currently broadcasting. Try
another station or try again later.
b) The local area Network is not connected to the Internet.
Internet radio is not playing
a) The IM-NET Integration Module is not connected to the home
network. Confirm that your IM-NET module has an IP address
(see page 12) and that it does not conflict with other devices
on the home network.
b) The program being broadcast is in an incompatible format.
Only Internet radio programs in MP3 or WMA format can be
played.
c) Your router’s firewall may be blocking connections out to the
Internet. Set up your router’s firewall to allow Internet access
to the MAC addresses of your IM-NET module.
d) The selected radio station is not currently broadcasting. Try
another radio station.
e) Internet radio station broadcasts are provided by third
parties. Any unresolved problems with a specific station
should be directed to the broadcaster.
There are gaps and/or jumps
between stations while playing music
from an Internet radio station.
a) The quality of the music experience is dependent on the
speed, delay, congestion, equipment, and competing
demands on the home network and by the internet. Improving
the home network and/or upgrading to higher speed Internet
service can enhance the music experience from the IM-NET
Integration Module.
A music server on my home network
is not listed on the “My Music” page
a) The music server is not running. Launch the music server.
b) The music server is not shared. See the music server’s
operating instructions for setting up sharing.
c) The computer or router’s firewall may be preventing access.
Check the computer and router’s firewall settings.
d) The music server is hidden. Select “Show” on the Admin
Utility.
Music/File names are not displayed
properly
a) File names may use characters that cannot be displayed.
