- Oil pressure, CHECK rise in green arc within 10’’;
- Fuel pressure, CHECK.
- Flap ½, SET;
- Trim neutral, SET;
- Electric fuel pump, ON;
- Carburettor Heat, OFF;
7.5. NORMAL TAKE-OFF
- Communication, PERFORM if required;
- Runway and Final, CHECK free;
- Throttle, push FULL power gradually to the maximum;
- Take-off RPM, CHECK min 5200;
WARNING
DURING TAKE-OFF RUN, KEEP THE FEET TIPS
AWAY FROM THE BRAKE PEDALS TO AVOID
UNINTENTIONAL BRAKING.
- While take-off run, engine instrument and airspeed increasing CHECK;
- ROTATE:
34 Mph / 55 km/h / 30 kt @ 600 kg;
- ACCELERATE to best angle of climb speed:
65 Mph / 105 km/h / 57 kt @ 600 kg;
- Retract FLAP;
- Once the safety height has been reached, reduce throttle or climb with desired performance;
- Carburettor Heat, ACTIVATE during probable icing conditions.

HOT AIR TO THE CARBURETTOR DECREASES
THE CHANCE OF ICE TO THE CARBURETTOR,
BUT DOES NOT PREVENT IT COMPLETELY.
SEVERE
ICE
CONDITIONS
ON
THE
CARBURETTOR SHOULD THEREFORE BE
AVOIDED AND HEATING TO THE CARBURETTOR
SHOULD BE USED WHENEVER THERE IS A
SUSPICION OF ICE CONDITIONS. THE RPM
CHANGE IN ABOUT 100 RPM.
