XFCE is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and

low on system resources, while still being visually appealing and user friendly. Now the LinPAC

AM335x series Linux provides the XFCE package, after user type ‘

root

’ and password ‘

icpdas

’ to

5.4.1.

Disable login prompt

To disable login prompt, user should to edit

/etc/init/tty1.conf

file first, and add "

--autologin

root

" for automatically log in the specified user without asking for a username or password.

Finally, reboot the LinPAC.
