Connecting the I/O
In the Section 2.3.4, We have declared
“
output
”
variables (i.e.,
“
OUT01”, “OUT02”, and “OUT03”)
and “input” variables (i.e., “K1” & “K2”). These
“
input
”
&
“
output
”
variables should be mapped
to I/O channels or function keys on the PAC before they can work.
To do that, click on
“
I/O connection
”
to get into the I/O connection window.
As the figure below, double-click the slot 8 and select
“
Boards
”
and then double-click the
“
push4key: 4 button on panel of 8xx7” to select the function.
Slot 0 to 7 is used to connect I/O modules on the PAC, in this case, add the DI function on slot 8.
