7 DeviceNet Communication Set

DeviceNet Communication Set Introduction
The I-7242D is a “Group 2 Only Slave” device, and supports the
“Predefined Master/Slave Connection Set”. To communicate with this device,
the process for establishing a connection is important. In addition, we provide
some examples on how to access I/O devices.
The CAN Identifier Fields associated with the Predefined Master/Slave
Connection Set for the I-7242D are given in the table 7-1. This table defines
the Identifiers that are to be used with all the connection based messaging
involved in the Predefined Master/Slave Connection Set for the I-7242D.
