Setting TAG channels
For more effcent scannng, add the desred channels as
TAG channels or clear the TAG for unwanted channels.
Channels that are not tagged wll be skpped durng scan-
nng. TAG channels can be assgned to each channel group
ndependently.

Whle pushng and holdng [H/L] , push [DIAL] several
tmes to select the desred channel group.

Select the desred channel to be set as a TAG channel.

] , then push [5•

] to set the dsplayed chan-
nel as a TAG channel.

To cancel the TAG channel settng, repeat step

Whle pushng and holdng

for 3 sec.
(untl a long beep changes to 2 short beeps) to clear all TAG
channels settng n the selected channel group.
• Repeat above procedure to set all TAG channels.

Starting a scan
Set scan type (Prorty or Normal scan) and scan resume
tmer n advance usng Set mode. (p. 107)

Make sure the squelch s closed to start a scan.
