GENERAL DESCRIPTION
EN
the frying process. The frying time should
also be kept as short as possible, and food
should only be fried until it turns golden
brown.
7. Please note that the safety switch (7) is
activated when the control element is
inserted into the guide mechanism.
8. Choose the right frying temperature and
check the condition of the food you are
going to fry. A rule of thumb is that
pre-fried food requires a higher tempera-
ture than raw food.
9. Do not carry or move the deep fryer if the
oil or grease is still hot.
10. When frying dough-like food, scrape off
any excess dough and put the pieces
carefully into the oil.
11. Check the handle of the frying basket has
been correctly attached.
12. Press the ends of the metal together at the
free end of the handle.
13. Insert the brackets into the metal hoops
inside the basket.
14. The frying basket must not be more than
2/3 full. Do not overfill the frying basket.
15. Rub dry humid food with a cloth before
frying.
FRYER FAT CONTAINER
• Changing the oil: remove the frying oil
container and pour the oil out at the side.
• Clean the frying oil container, the lid and the
housing with a damp cloth and household
detergent if necessary. Never immerse the
container in water.
• The frying basket may be cleaned normally
in water using a mild detergent.
HOUSING
After using the deep fryer, clean the housing
with a slightly damp cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The appliance is not working Troubleshooting:
• Check the power supply.
• Check the position of the thermostat.
Other possible causes:
• The unit is fitted with a safety switch (7).
This prevents the heating element from
being switched on by mistake.
• Check that the control element is correctly
in place.
WARNING:
• If food is too moist (e.g. frozen French fries), large amounts of foam can be
produced, which under certain circumstances can cause the oil to overflow.
