new
battery

caching

automatically
disabled

new
battery
becomes
fully
charged.

monitor

cache
batteries

the
unit
(one

each

age

fiber-optic
cables
Each
RAID
controller
unit
has
two
host
ports
and
one
expansion
unit
port.
SFPs
are
inserted
into
the
ports,
and
then
fibre-channel
cables
are
connected
to
the
SFPs.

FAStT
EXP100
to
an
existing
FAStT100
configuration
You
can
add
up
to
three
FAStT
EXP100
drive
enclosures
to
a
FAStT100
storage
server.
However,
you
do
not
need
to
configure
the
FAStT100
with
the
maximum
number
of
EXP100s
at
the
time
of
initial
installation.
You
can
add
additional
EXP100s
to
an
existing
FAStT100
configuration
(up
to
the
maximum
number
of
EXP100s
supported
in
a
drive
loop)
as
you
need
more
capacity.
