When the SMagent service starts up correctly, the Application Event Log contains two
messages from this service. The second message is the confirmation that the SMagent
service is running. The first message contains confirmation that the SMagent service
made contact with a DS3000 subsystem through the access logical drive (or UTM logical
drive), as you can see in Figure 14-9.

This looks fine, so let’s try the automatic host access configuration task.
2. As seen in Figure 14-10, the task correctly identified our host server named COLORADO
and placed it in the
Available Hosts
list.
