4. Working at the front of the rack cabinet, identify the two standard rack units
(2U) of space in the rack into which you want to install the support rails.
Figure 8 shows two rack units with the front mounting holes identified.

Note: Each rail comes with two medium bracket pins in the front bracket and
two medium bracket pins in the rear bracket. The medium bracket pins are for
installation in a 19-inch IBM rack cabinet. If you are installing the storage
enclosure in a non-IBM rack cabinet, you may need to replace the set of
medium bracket pins on the front and rear of the rail with either the small or
large bracket pins that are included in the rail kit.
