13. Move the processor heat sink to the system processor module. If either the TIM or the heat sink is
damaged, replace both the TIM and the heat sink. One of the alignment pins (B) is circular, the other
alignment pin is an oval. The oval-shaped pin is towards the front of the system. Ensure that the
alignment holes (A) in the heat sink match the circular and oval alignment pins. Carefully lower the
heat sink over the system processor module, ensuring that the holes in the heat sink align with the
two guide pins on the socket, as shown in the following figure.
