Removing the bezel
When working with some devices, such as additional optical drives, you must first
remove the bezel to access the device.
To remove the bezel, complete the following steps:
1. Unlock the side-cover lock.
2. Remove the side cover (see “Removing the side cover” on page 39).
3. Locate the bezel-release lever; then, press the bezel-release lever toward the
front of the computer.

4. Pull the top of the bezel away from the chassis; then, push the bezel down to
disengage the bottom tabs.
5. Remove the bezel from the computer and store the bezel in a safe place.
