No dial tone/phone will not dial out.

Check that you have plugged the AC power adapter into a working AC power outlet.

Confirm that the AC power adapter is plugged into the DC jack on the base of the unit.

Confirm the 

CHARGE/IN USE

LED is lit.

Check all telephone cord connections or try another wall jack.

Can’t hear the ring signal.

Check the ringer 

ON/OFF

control on the handset to make sure it is in the ON position.

While on a call,  you hear another call on the line or experience radio frequency 
interference.

Switch channels for a clearer channel.

Check the wiring for bad connections.

Can't receive or make phone calls.

Check to be sure the phone is set to the correct type of service, either Tone or Pulse.

SETTING UP THE BASE

1. Connect the telephone line cord to the 

"Line1 / 2" and "Line2" jacks and to the 
telephone outlets.

2. Use the "Line1 /2" jack if you are con- 

necting only one phone line.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to 

the (9V DC) jack and to an AC outlet. 
The POWER lamp on the base will 
glow green.

4. Raise the antenna vertically.

1. Slide open the battery door.

2. Plug the battery terminal together.

3. Insert the battery into the battery 

compartment.

4. Place the handset on the base and allow

to charge for 12 hours.

Insert the pedestal into the slots on the bottom
of the base and slide up to  lock in place. The
pedestal is reversible for desk or wall mounting.

"TEL LINE"

jack and to a telephone outlet.

Connect the AC power adapter to the 9V DC
jack and to an AC outlet.

Raise the antenna vertically.
