Making Calls
1.
Pick up the handset from the base.
2.
Press
P
. The LED on the handset will flash while
the handset is scanning for a clear channel. The
LED will glow steadily when the connection is
made. Wait until you hear a dial tone.
3.
Dial the number you wish to dial.
4.
When you are finished talking, press the
P
key or
place the unit back into the base to end the call.
Note:
The “
CHARGE/IN USE
” light on the base will
turn green when the line is active.
Receiving Calls
When you hear the phone ring:
1.
If the handset is in the base, lift the handset from
the base. The handset will turn on. There is no
need to push the
P
key if the unit is in the base
when the call comes in.
2.
If the handset is off the base, push
P
.
3.
When you are finished, push
P
or place the
handset back in the base.
Redialing
1.
Press
P
, once the IBM-3415 has acquired a line,
press
F
to redial the number last dialed.
To Receive a Call Waiting Call
•
Press
G
to go to the new caller
•
Press
G
again to go back to the original caller
