4. At the login prompt, type the management-module user name (Windows only).
At the password prompt, type the management-module password. The user
name and password are case sensitive and are the same as those that are used for
management-module Web access. The default management-module user name is
USERID
, and the default password is
PASSW0RD
. (Note that the sixth character in
PASSW0RD
is the number zero (0), not the letter O.).
The Command Line Interface Shell window opens.
5. Press Enter.
A command-prompt window opens.
6. At the login prompt, type the management-module user name. At the password

admin start
and press Enter to obtain administrator privileges.
8. Normally, the date and time are set by the CMM through NTP. However, as an
option, you can set the date and time of the switch by typing
date
[MMDDhhmmCCYY]
where:
[MM] is the month
[DD] is the day
[hh] is the hour in 24-hour format
[mm] is the minute
[CC] represents the century identifier
[YY] represents the last two numbers of the year
For example, the format for 28 March 28 2011 8:46 p.m. is date 032820462011.
Press Enter.
9. Type
admin end
and press Enter to exit from the administrator operating mode
and return to the standard operating mode.
