The AS/400 host system only supports the attachment of specific external
storage devices, including the 7210 DVD-RAM Drive. Contact your IBM
authorized support personnel for information about valid attached devices and
the configurations allowed by the system.

When attaching multiple SCSI devices to a host system, ensure that the wide
SCSI device, such as a 7207 Tape Drive, is connected first. Any narrow SCSI
devices, such as the 7210 DVD-RAM Drive, should be connected after the wide
devices to ensure that the wide device is fully enabled.
