Firmware
updates
Firmware
updates
are
imbedded
in
the
Cloudshield
PacketWorks
Operating
System
(CPOS)
and
are
available
for
updates
when
the
new
CPOS
is
installed.
You
must
choose
to
update
the
firmware
to
use
the
new
CPOS
version.
You
will
still
be
able
to
install
applications
in
a
different
version
of
CPOS
that
is
compatible
with
the
firmware
version.

more
information
about
updating
the
firmware
for
the
DPI
blade.
Important:
To
avoid
problems
and
to
maintain
proper
system
performance,
always
make
sure
that
the
DPI
blade
BIOS,
service
processor,
and
diagnostic
firmware
levels
are
consistent
for
all
DPI
blades
of
the
same
type
within
the
BladeCenter
unit.
