This chapter contains cable and connector information.

Cable Information

The following cables are available as options from your IBM representative.

8-Port Direct Modem Attachment Cable

The cable is 1.8 meters (6 feet) long. It has a 78-pin connector that splits into eight individual cables
with 25-pin connectors.

Multiport Interface Cable

The cable is 3.0 meters (9.8 feet) long. It has a 78-pin connector and a breakout box with eight 25-pin
male connectors for attaching cables.


