As indicated in Figure 28 on page 45 and Figure 29, some of the wires should not
be connected. If you do connect the wires that are labeled “Reserved”, you might
get unexpected results with some terminals.

Cable specifications
Table 13 on page 47 lists the cable specifications for the cables used with the
Gigabit, and 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports.

capability. The numbers provided here represent the accepted
recommendations of the various standards. For network-specific
recommendations, consult your local reseller or system engineer.
