Step 7
For stacked installation of adjacent switch assemblies in a rack, the duct kits need to
have their screw-in floors removed.
Remove the floor by unscrewing the four screws
on each side of the duct rail.
STEP 8
Convert side rail from storage position to overlap position by removing the (3)
screws on the side blocking plate and reinstalling them in the lower three holes to
extend below the lower edge of the rail. (2 pls). This will block excess hot air
from entering between the switch rails.
Move (3) screws down to
bottom holes to lower
blocking plate (both sides)
