4. Attach one end of the Cat5 cable to the second RJ-45 connector on the UCO cable for the first
target device.
5. Attach the other end of this cable to the first RJ-45 connector of the UCO cable for the second
target device.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for all target devices that you chain together.
7. When you reach the end of the chain, attach a terminator to the second RJ-45 connector on the
last UCO cable in the chain.
Setting up the LCM2 appliance
With the LCM2 appliance, you can auto detect and configure each port on the appliance. Chapter 3
provides detailed instructions on naming customization and OSCAR interface setup
and configuration.
