This Heat gun is an electric device used to emit a stream of hot
air, usually at temperatures between 100 °C and 550 °C, which
can be held by hand.
Heat guns are used in various fields:
physics, material science, chemistry, engineering, and other
laboratory and workshop settings.
The following includes the major applications of a heat gun:
Drying paint, varnish colour shade samples, filler, adhesives
and construction joints.
Drying wet timber prior to filling.
Removing stickers, Waxing and de-waxing.
Shrinking PVC wrapping and insulation tube. Bending plastic
pipes and sheets.
Joining adhesives- Large-surface gluing with contact adhesives,
activation of pressure-sensitive adhesives, acceleration of
bonding processes, releasing of bonding points as well as
releasing or bonding of edge band.
Loosening rusted or tightly-fastened nuts and bolts.
Welding of thermoplastic polymer, flooring materials of PVC
and PVC-coated fabric.
Soldering plumbing joints, tin, special silver solder, SMD
(Surface mounted device) elements and cable lugs.
Disinfection: With hot air of 550ºC, animal sties, stables of
bacteria, woodworm infestation can be removed or controlled.
