WARNING!
Misuse or failure to follow the safety rules stated in
this instruction manual may cause serious personal injury.
A fire could arise if this hot air gun is not used with care.
Remember that hidden areas such as those behind walls, ceilings,
floors, boards and other panels may contain flammable materials
that could accidentally ignite while stripping paint. Such a fire
would not be readily apparent, and could cause considerable
damage and danger of injury.
Do not place your hand over the air vents, nozzles or block the
vents in any way.
The nozzle and other accessories of this tool
become extremely hot during use. Let these parts cool down before
touching. Always switch the tool OFF before putting it down. Do
not leave the tool unattended while it is switched ON.
Do not point the hot air steam at people.
Be sure to direct the hot
air blast in a safe direction; away from flammable objects.
Do not look directly into the metal nozzle when the machine is
switched on.
Do not hold the metal nozzle too close to the work
as the air flow will be restricted and may cause the hot air gun to
overheat
(Position the nozzle at least 25mm from the work surface).
Do not apply heat to any one area for a long period of time.
Do
not allow heat to be directed onto the power cable.
Do not use this product as hairdryer, to cook or warm food
. Do
not allow children to operate or play with the heat gun.
When an extension cord is required, please ensure it has the correct
ampere rating for the power tool and that it is in a safe electrical
condition. Fully unwind the cords to avoid potential overheating.
Be constantly aware the tool can ignite flammable materials,
and soften or melt others
. Regardless of the task you are
performing, shield or keep away these materials that are close to
the work area. Avoid poking anything down inside the nozzle.
Do not use the heat gun in combination with chemical strippers.
When this is used as a paint stripper, Clean dry paint from the
nozzle after use and your scraper blade frequently during use.
Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any
adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
