An anti-freeze concentration of 40% should be used as an all year round coolant. This concentration will give low temperature
protection down to -25

.
In addition to, a 40% concentration will protect the cooling system from corrosion.
- The coolant mixture should not exceed 50% anti-freeze by volume.
- This data is the industry standard for a typical ethylene glycol based antifreeze.

- Do not use dirty water or seawater for coolant.
- Check pressure cap condition tighten securely after service.
- When coolant is added, start the engine and check again before it gets hot. It may require
additional coolant.
- To avoid injury, always stop the engine and allow it to cool before changing the coolant or
performing any other cooling system service.
- Do not remove the pressure cap while the engine is hot. Escaping steam or coolant will cause
serious injury to you or any bystanders.
Coolant reserve tank
The coolant level should be between "FULL" and "LOW".
