Dear customer, thank you for purchase of our product. To achieve the utmost in enjoyment and
performance, please read this manual carefully before attempting to operate the unit in order to
became familiar with its features, and assure you years of faithful, trouble free performance and
listening pleasure. It’s a short range up to 500m in open field. Low powered babyphone base station
in combination with a 446 MHz PMR (Private Mobile Radio). The PM 55 can be used in any country
where the service is authorized as indicated on the packing box and in this manual.
Important Notes
· Clean the cabinet with soft cloth. Detergent or alcohol is forbidden.
· When the set is not going to be used for a long time, unplug the AC lead and remove the
batteries.
· When the unit distorts because of strong smoke and heat, remove the batteries and cut off
the power supply quickly.
· Ensure you read the safety warnings carefully below before you operate the unit.
· Don’t attempt to disassemble or repair this unit casually. Go to consult the properly qualified
center when malfunction happened.
· Operate turning controls and switches as instructed in the manual.
· This book is only a guide for user’s operation, not a criterion for configuration.
· Forbid to use the product to wiretaps or meddle in others’ privacy.
Using the
To have communication between the Baby unit and the PMR device they need to be set both on the
same channel and within receiving range (up to max. 500 m in open field). Since these devices use
free frequency bands (channels), all devices in operation share these channels (total 8 channels).
Therefore, privacy is not guaranteed.
The baby unit operates on VOX mode. This means that the device starts sending as soon as the
microphone detects sound. The sensitivity of the sound detection can be changed by the user.
Any other PMR devices in range, on the same channel and in standby mode (not transmitting) will
hear the transmitted signal.

Installation
The baby unit can operate with power adapter OR with non- rechargeable ‘LR03’ alkaline batteries.
It has no charging function.
Batteries must be installed in the parent unit , otherwise it will not function Properly. You can use
rechargeable Ni-MH or LR03 Alkaline batteries. When you use another type of batteries can be
danger of explosion. While you use alkaline batteries don‘t connect DC adapter.
