CHECK PROCEDURES
The ABSCM measures the voltage at the ignition input to detect an operating voltage out of the normal operating
range.
POWER SOURCE
Turn ignition switch to lock, and disconnect. the negative (-) terminal cable from battery and wait at least 30
seconds.
Disconnect SRSCM connector, DAB and PAB inflators.
Connect SRS harness checker to SRSCM harness side connector and connect battery negative (-) terminal.
Turn ignition switch to ON position.
Measure the voltage between checker terminal 11 and body ground.
LIMIT: 6.0 - 16.5V
GROUND CONNECTION
Turn ignition switch to LOCK position.
Check continuity between checker terminal No. 10 and body ground.
NOTE
When the ignition voltage supplying fuse (No. 12) is blown out, the Hi-scan cannot communicate
with, the SRSCM even though SRS SRI illuminates continuously.
