Using the phone projection

When you connect a smartphone to the vehicle via a USB cable or
wireless connection, you can run and control applications on the
Android smartphone or iPhone through the system’s widescreen
and convenient user interfaces.

Do not adjust or set up any phone settings while driving. You may
lose your steering control which could cause an accident and
severe bodily injuries.

Caution
Using an approved USB cable provided by your smartphone
manufacturer is recommended. Using unapproved USB
cables may cause a phone projection error or a system
malfunction.
Use only the applications that support the phone projection.
When you are using an application that does not support
the phone projection, problems may occur on the system or
smartphone.
The phone projection screen displays only the applications
that support the phone projection. The applications that
support the phone projection can be found at the following

To use the functions on your smartphone with the minimized
system settings, update the smartphone OS to the latest
version.
