Buffer Dial
The Buffer Dial function is available via the
Call
key
or PTT ID. If DTMF signalling is selected in a telegram
for encoding, the corresponding DTMF code will be
transmitted during phone call.
◆
Live Dial
Input the digits to be transmitted through the numeric
keypad and transmit one by one. If the Auto Reset mode is
enabled, the reset timer will be started and the LED glows
orange.
Two ways to enter the Live Dial mode:
1. Set the keypad to DTMF mode (by your dealer).
2. Select “Live” for the Phone System Dialing Mode
parameter in a telegram. The Auto Reset mode will be
started after the telegram transmission, and the Live
Dial mode is entered with “Enter Digits” on the LCD.
Note:
If users want to use the Live Dial function, the
microphone with keypad is required.
◆
Dial Speed
Your dealer can set the Digit Duration and Digit Interval
Duration for Buffer Dial and Live Dial, so as to specify the
DTMF encoding speed.
The fixed interval time between DTMF digits reduces false
decoding operations. By default, the Digit Duration is set
to 50 ms.
◆
Min/Max Digit Duration
The Max/Min Digit Duration for Live Dial is programmable
by your dealer. After numeric key press, the assigned
DTMF tone will be transmitted. The amount of time that a
DTMF tone is transmitted is determined by the specified
maximum/minimum digit duration.
Emergency
The radio will switch to the preset Emergency Revert
Channel to transmit and receive after entering the
Emergency mode. A complete Emergency process
comprises four stages: Transmit Emergency ID, Transmit
Emergency Alarm, Transmit Background Tone and Forcibly
Receive. The number of times the radio cycles among the
stages is programmable by your dealer.

Emergency Start
The
Emergency
key can be programmed by your dealer.
