Scan Pause ( signalling type is set to HDC2400

Entering the Main menu while in Scan mode will cause the
radio to pause scanning. The radio will resume scanning
when it exits the Main menu.

Nuisance Channel Temporary Delete
When scan stops on an undesired channel (e.g. nuisance
channel), press the programmed
Nuisance Channel
Temporary Delete
key to temporarily delete the channel
from the scan list. The radio continues scanning the
remaining channels in the scan list. The temporarily
deleted channel will go back the list when the radio exits
from the Scan mode.
Note:
You cannot perform a Nuisance Channel Temporary
Delete procedure if there are only one or two remaining
channels in the Scan List.
Phone
You may send the access code that allows a connection
to a telephone line, or send the exit code that allows a
disconnection from a telephone line.
Valid when 5-Tone signalling is set by your dealer.
Basic Operations
Ways to exit scan:
1. Press the
Scan
key again during scan process.
2. Auto Exit.
The radio will exit the Scan mode if it is switched to a
channel without a scan list or with auto scan off.
3. Menu Selection.
4. Receive Stun code (signalling type is set to 5-Tone), or
receive Kill code (signalling type is set to HDC2400™).
5. Press the
Emergency
key.
6. Press the
Call
key to transmit (signalling type is set to
HDC2400™).
7. Press the PTT key to transmit signallings, except PTT
ID (signalling type is set to HDC2400™).
8. Power off.

Scan Stay
The radio will stay when a signal satisfying stay requirements
of a channel is detected, or the
PTT/Call
key or the
Monitor
key is pressed.
When the radio stays on a channel, “
P:
” is displayed on
the LCD, indicating the channel on which the radio stays.
“
P
” indicates Priority Channel 1, while “
P.
” indicates
Priority Channel 2.
