4.  Press the 

PTT

 key in the status message menu to send 

status message.

●  Selective  Call/Alert  Call: The  LED  glows  red  during 

transmission, and glows orange after transmission.  

●  PTT  ID/Selective  Call/Alert  Call: Your  dealer  can 

program  whether  the  radio  sounds  side  tone  during 
transmission or sounds beeps after transmission. 

●  Status  Message: The  LED  flashes  three  times  after 

successful transmission. 

 Decoding:

●  PTT ID: After decoding, the LCD displays the transmitting 

party’s ID (zone ID + individual ID) or alias.

●  Selective  Call/Alert  Call: The  following  indications  will 

be given after decoding:

 

Alert:

 Sound customized or default alert (for alert call, 

only the default alert will sound).

 

LED  Indication:

 The  LED  flashes  orange  twice  for 

individual  call  and  once  for  group  call,  zone  call,  and 
broadcast (for alert call, only one kind of LED indication 
is available).

 

Vibrate:

 The vibration times is programmable by your 

dealer.

 

LCD  Display:

  If  Display  Decoding  ID  is  checked,  the 

LCD will display “Call Received” and transmitting party’s ID

  (such  as  ID  010001),  or  display  “Call  Received”  and 

transmitting  party’s  alias.  If  Display  Decoding  ID  is 
unchecked, the LCD will only display “Call Received”.

●  Killed: The  speaker  mutes,  not  available  for  voice 

transmission and any key operation. The LCD displays 
“Killed”.

●  Stunned: The  LCD  will  display  “Stunned”  for  a  short 

time and then restore to normal status. The LCD can be 
scrolled. When the user attempts to transmit, the LCD 
will display “Stunned” again. 

●  Revive: The radio will restore to normal operations.
●  Status  Message: After  successful  decoding,  the  LED 

flashes  three  times  with  corresponding  alert  and  LCD 

display.

●  Remote Monitor: After successful decoding, there is no 

decoding  alert. The  radio  automatically  receives  and 
transmits the programmed background tone.
