4.2.6.2 Over the Air Encryption
Over the Air Encryption protects the data and communication from being monitored by illegal users.
At present Over the Air Encryption is only applicable to signaling transmitted over the air interface. Over the Air
Encryption and E2EE are different but they do not influent each other. You can choose the encryption
accordingly.
To use Over the Air Encryption, the following must be done:
 Configure Over the Air Encryption via Smart MDM.
 Configure and import the encryption key via Smart MDM and KMC (Key Management Center).
The following is the configuration of Over the Air Encryption, as for the configuration and import of the key,
please refer to 6 Key Management .
