Tuning Description
Required Test Instruments
(1) Communication Test Set 1 set
(2) Scanner 1 set
(3) 3A/10V Power Supply 1 set
(4) Digital Voltmeter 1 set
(5) 3A Ammeter 1 set
Preparations
1. Reset
Your
Radio
(1) Entering All Reset mode
Hold down
SK1
+
SK2
for two seconds while powering on the radio. Release them after the LED flashes
green three times, and your radio will enter All Reset mode.
(2) Selecting a frequency band
Rotate the
Channel Selector
knob to select an appropriate frequency band.
Channel 1: 136-174MHz;
Channel 2: 350-390MHz;
Channel 3: 400-470MHz;
Channel 4: 450-520MHz.
(3) Selecting a reset type
Reset Function: press
SK1
key to begin resetting, and the LED solidly glows green;
Reset radioINFO: press
SK2
key to begin resetting, and the LED solidly glows green;
Reset all data: press
PTT
key to begin resetting, and the LED solidly glows green;
Note: resetting will fail when the Channel Selector knob does not locate on any channel from channel 1
to channel 4. In this case, the LED would solidly glow red.
