“Capacity Cutt-off allows the user to set the
maximum charge capacity that will be
supplied to the battery during charging. If
the delta peak voltage is not detected nor
the safety timer expires by any reason then
this feature will automatically stop the
process at the selected capacity value.
When you start charging the timer will start
to run. This safety timer is used so that the
battery does not accidently continue to
charge for too long periods of time. This
safety feature is to prevent overcharge in
the event that the battery is faulty. Do note
to give yourself plenty of time to fully
c h a r g e t h e b a t t e r y u n d e r n o r m a l
circumstances.

When using your EOS 0840i Charger for the first time it is essential to set your user-
defined settings that are relative for you and your batteries. Select the System Settings
menu to alter and program the charger for your use.
Navigate through the menus by using the + or - button, by pressing the START/ENTER
button it will save your settings.
