1. Compression damping force
To adjust the compression damping force turn in the
adjuster

fully for

direction (counter-
clockwise or clockwise).
Count the number of turns from the fully turned-in
position.
Fully turned-in

H
”
direction (or clockwise) provides
stiffest compression damping force and turning
“
S
”
direction (or counter-clockwise) the adjuster will soft-
en compression damping force.
2. Tension damping force
To adjust the tension damping force turn in the
adjuster

clockwise or clockwise).
Count the number of turns from the fully turned-in
position.

WARNING
Unequal front suspension adjustment can cause
poor handling and loss of stability.
Be sure to adjust the compression and tension
damping force on the right and left front shock
absorbers to the same setting.

DAMPING FORCE ADJUSTMENT
The compression and tension damping force are
adjustable for rider
’
s preference, rider’s weight and
field condition.
NOTE
Do not turn the adjuster screws more than given
position, or the adjuster may be damaged.
