4-1-55 EI SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

6) Disconnect the clutch lever switch coupler

and

then check the continuity between GR wire and Br
wire when the squeezing the clutch lever.

YES

If wire and connection are OK,
intermittent trouble or faulty ECU.
Recheck each terminal and wire
harness for open circuit and poor
connection.

Replace the GP switch or Clutch
lever switch with a new one.

Is OK?

7) Measure the voltage between of the ECU and

the LY wire of the wiring harness’s GP switch
coupler, and measure the voltage between of
the ECU and the GR wire of the wiring harness’s
clutch lever switch coupler.

If the measurement is out of 0.4 ~ 0.7 V, replacce
the DIODE #3 with a new one
