EI SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS 4-1-38

“0117” or “0118” ET SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

INSPECTION

1) Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position.
2) Check the ET sensor coupler for loose or poor

contacts.

If OK, then measure the ET sensor resistance.

3) Disconnect the ET sensor coupler.
4) Measure the resistance between the terminals

and

of the ET sensor.
