Cleaning and maintenance

Maintenance
The instrument is maintenance-free. However, it is still essential to have the
instrument recalibrated regularly. In case of frequent use, we recommend ca-
libration every two years by our calibration laboratory:

Have the following information ready when you contact us. If you are returning
the instrument, please also attach this information.

Faulty part (instrument, sensor, cable, power pack)

PC/laptop used (CPU, operating system, RAM, HDD)

Software version used (HYDROcom6
or HYDROlink6)

Description of fault
– Leave the settings on the measuring instrument as they were at the
time the fault occurred.
– Briefly describe the measuring task.
– List the sensors used.
– Describe the instrument settings, e.g. the recording parameters, trig-
gers, measuring rate, etc.
